Mark Followill serves as a play-by-play announcer for Fox Sports, covering a spectrum of sports including basketball, soccer, and football. He became a part of the Fox Sports team in 2014 and has since been a key member of the Fox Sports soccer team. Within this role, he has provided play-by-play commentary for a range of events including Major League Soccer, United States Men’s and Women’s National team games, Concacaf Gold Cup, UEFA Europa League, 2016 Copa America Centenario, Bundesliga, and FIFA U-20 and U-17 World Cups.

Mark Followill is an alumnus of Northwest High School in Justin, Texas. He initially enrolled at the University of North Texas, but he decided to leave to pursue his broadcasting career.

Notably, Mark was an integral part of the esteemed broadcasting team that covered the 2018 FIFA World Cup held in Russia. Additionally, he has been actively engaged as a play-by-play announcer for the network’s college football broadcasts since 2012.
