Tracie has had quite an impressive career. She previously worked as an anchor and reporter for WATE-TV from August 1992 to April 1997 covering assignments in the East Tennessee ABC network, where she was also the producer and host for half-hour news specials and public affairs programs.
From September 1991 to August 1992, Potts anchored for and produced the morning show for WAFF-TV’s northern Alabama NBC affiliate. During her training days, she was also a writer for The Atlanta Inquirer, Virginian-Pilot, Chicago Tribune, and The Palm Beach Post.
