Hailing from Guernsey, one of the Channel Islands, Sarah Anne Louise Montague, also known as Lady Brooke, was born on February 8, 1966. She is a renowned British journalist and presenter, celebrated for her contributions to BBC Radio 4.

Montague’s educational journey began at Blanchelande College, a local independent school for girls. Subsequently, she pursued a degree in biology at the University of Bristol, where she obtained a BSc upon graduation.

Her departure from Today garnered public attention, primarily due to revelations of substantial pay disparities between Montague and her male counterparts at the BBC.
